About OOTB
Out of the Bedroom: Colorado is the “offspring” of the original Out of the Bedroom in Edinburgh, Scotland. Host Darren Thornberry previously chaired OOTB in Edinburgh and, with the full support of the Scottish committee, has started the first American chapter right here in Woodland Park, Colorado. OOTB partners with Mountain Acoustic Music Association to make this great event possible. 
OOTB occurs monthly (the day of the month varies, so watch the website) at Darren Thornberry’s house at 720 West Henrietta Avenue, Woodland Park CO 80863. Expect to perform a set of two or three songs. We have a house guitar, but you are welcome to bring your own instrument. Poets are welcome, too.
Our goal is to provide a safe forum and a very quiet, listening audience to local performers. It’s our intention to highlight, promote and celebrate the talent in this community, whether you’re a veteran or neophyte songwriter.

Hello Darren! So this is the Originals Open Mic I’ve been hearing about. I’m excited to come to one of these, but I don’t know the schedule. I’ve been friends of MAMA for a long time. Please add me to your mailing list, so I can attend one of your OOTB events! Thank you!
